Football Club channels in danger

by David Allen

Some of the top football teams in the country are finding that providing their fans with a dedicated TV channel is not as easy as it may have first seemed.

This is because a lot of these channels have been operated by the failed satellite broadcaster Setanta and as a result of the broadcaster closing down in the UK, the team channels have begun to struggle.

First up is Celtic TV. This channel has gone and will not return until the team manages to get a new deal with a new rights holder.

Other team channels such as Arsenal TV, Rangers TV and Liverpool TV are struggling to find a service and are in fact talking about taking the service online, as this will prevent the same situation from occurring again.
