The satellite horse racing channel, Racing TV, has had to make some quick decisions in order to stay on the air following the collapse of the satellite sports broadcaster Setanta.
Racing TV was launched in 2004 and two years later became part of the Setanta Sports Pack.
The channel runs a daily programme of information and support, plus coverage of forty five race days per year.
As of now Racing TV will be broadcasting on Sky Channel 432, but may have to move at some stage when the issues of carrying have been finalised.
When Racing TV launched it was charging subscribers £20 per month and it is this deal that the channel has gone back to.
Subscribers get access for the online services for the rest of the month and £600 worth of free race day tickets.
