Panda’s new 2010 software

Alan Harten -

One of the hardest parts of using security software on your computer is that sometimes some of the best products negatively affect other things that you need to use.

The good news is that Panda Security is launching a new line of security packages for 2010 that are aimed at providing the best security possible without causing much disturbance to your normal activities on the PC.

Panda Security stated that the new security software will perform at 80% faster speeds, offer 60% faster browsing speeds with the security protections enabled, and faster downloading by about 40%.

Some of the new security software products were released on Thursday including the Panda AntiVirus Pro 2010 which retails for $39.95, the Panda Antivirus for Netbooks for $39.95, the Panda Global Protection 2010 for $69.95, and the Panda Internet Security 2010 for the retail price of $59.95.

The prices are based on protection for one computer but for about ten to twenty dollars more, depending on the project, you can get coverage for more than one computer.

In particular the low end Netbooks product, which is expected to be one of the best sellers, provides anti-spyware, anti-rootkit technology, and anti-phishing protection.

The AntiVirus Pro 2010 offers additional secure software protection against hackers, spyware, and viruses, with 2GB of backup space to help with system recovery.

Panda Global protection offers all the features of the products listed above with 5GB of online space.
