Wales still in the broadband slow lane

It looks as if despite all the work that has been going on with next gen broadband, this technology is not helping those who live in areas where even the slowest broadband is not possible.

According to the creative industries minister, Sion Simon, Wales is still getting a raw deal when it comes to broadband coverage.

BT may be testing the next gen broadband in a small area in south Wales, but that means nothing to the many places where broadband and mobile broadband are but a dream.

It would seem that broadband is not the only issue in Wales, and the minister has said that he would like to see all areas covered by DAB radio by 2015 too.

Poor DAB coverage has been brought up by the Audience Council of Wales report.
