WIN Plc, a provider of information and entertainment for mobile users announced yesterday that it will bring applications to users in Santa Mateo, Barcelona, Bangalore, and Helsinki with a new partnership with Digital Chocolate, which is the world’s current leader in applications and mobile gaming.
The two companies will deliver the mobile games with the aid of a UK text short code that will be featured in an ad campaign in July and August in various puzzles and gaming magazines.
Users can simple text the short code to download games such as Pictoplay, and Sudoku.
Sales director of the Digital Chocolate division in the UK, Rob Stevenson, said that the company is thrilled to be working with WIN plc and that its content management platform allows the company to use a different distribution method to provide users with several different games.
WIN plc also announced that it has added a new service to its Enterprise Platform that now allows users to “Tweet” - a post that is automatically added to Twitter feeds and any other social medium network that users designate.
The service has already been used at several mashup events for quizzing purposes with users posting the answers and questions live to an audience both online and at the specific event.
Graham Rivers, the WIN CEO, said that the offering was simply another addition to its growing Platform in an effort to help increase the way that organizations fluently communicate with each other and their customers.
