Pace reaching for the Sky

Following the recent success in the set top box market, UK based Pace is setting sites high for the future, in fact it is aiming to be no less than the world leader in this growing market.

According to the Independent, Pace is being pushed along by strong financial results and although the consumer electronics market is a tough place, the set top box sector is currently bucking the market trend and Pace is riding the wave.

Pace is an incredible story. Founded by David Hood and Barry Rubery back in 1982, the company has been in some very difficult situations.

There is a story that the company had no design for a set top box 1987.

A Hells Angel who swapped the idea for a new Harley Davidson designed the company’s first set top box.

It was this that set Pace on the way to its future success.
