The Xperia X2 will have an 8.1 megapixel camera with a photo light, a 3.2-inch screen, and a QWERTY keyboard that slides out from beneath the screen. Connectivity options for the phone includes High-Speed Packet Access or HSDPA and Wi-Fi. In terms of its design, its pretty much similar to its predecessor, the Xperia X1. The X2, however, is much ligther and more sleeker than the X1. The Xperia X2 will use the same panels as the X1 to navigate and launch applications from the start page. Users can pick between 14 panels, including Skype, YouTube and Windows Live.
Some are expecting and Android-based device from Sony Ericsson. Maybe their still working on it and in the company’s statement, they won’t be releasing one until early or late next year.
Right now, Sony Ericsson is working on devices based on Symbian, Windows Mobile and Android.
