Unified communications provider Timico has achieved 23rd place in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 list, which ranks the fastest growing technology companies in the UK.
This is still a notable achievement, despite being a fall from last year when the company was ranked 4th in the list, and 2007 when it achieved 10th position.
The achievement is particularly noteworthy given the current economic climate.
Chris Tombs, CEO of Timico, said: “Timico’s growth has been boosted by the successful implementation of significant network solutions for a number of key customers in the last 12 months, including Murco Petroleum and The Stroke Association.”
Cambridge Broadband Networks was ranked 21st in the list, making it the UK’s fastest growing wireless hardware company.
The prestigious first place was taken by ecommerce provider, The Hut Group, with sales growth of 189%.
The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 is compiled by research and networking events company Fast Track.
Timico recently announced that it will release a web conferencing tool for VoIP customers in October.
The conferencing solution, called ‘Meet Me’, enables conferences for up to 25 participants, including those without VoIP lines.
Timico’s communication solutions cover the internet, fixed phone line, and mobile.
