Amino Communications has received a large order for high definition set-top boxes from Pioneer Telephone Cooperative.
Pioneer plans to use the A130 STB and A130M STV from Amino to upgrade its current HD service to over 50,000 existing customers.
Pioneer is one of the largest television co-operatives in operation in the United States and is based out of the state of Oklahoma.

The aim of using the new Amino STBs is to provide the company with a virtually seamless transition without affecting the service of any existing Pioneer’s customers.
Scott Ulsaker the Manager of Pioneer’s Long Distance, Broadband, and Video Services said its digital TV offering is what gives Pioneer its competitive edge in the marketplace and with the ability to deliver HD television they will be able gain a further edge in the marketplace.
Dan Carufel the Amino Communications Director of Sales said that Amino is pleased to work with the Pioneer Telephone Cooperative and that the companies share an independent spirit and a focus on delivering the best entertainment experience possible to customers.
