Some Twitter users locked out of accounts

A problem has cropped up over at Twitter which has resulted in a number of users being unable to access their accounts.

Some users who have changed their username, password or updated their email address have found themselves unable to get back onto Twitter.

Apparently this issue can affect both new and established users of the service, and it’s recommended that you don’t attempt to change any of your details at the moment, lest you risk being locked out.

Twitter is currently looking into the problem and has promised an update when more information is available.

According to V3.co.uk, some users have been locked out since October 8th.
