Microsoft offers preview of Twitter dashboard update

Microsoft is offering Xbox owners the chance to get a sneak peek at the dashboard update which brings Twitter and Facebook support to the console.

The company is looking for a broad selection of global Xboxers with differing connection speeds, although Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be given priority.

A couple of thousand testers are being sought, but there’s likely to be a lot of interest, so your chances are probably pretty slim.

Still, you won’t have to wait long until the real thing is here – it should be released come mid-November.

Thats pretty cool, twitter on the Xbox 360.
I wonder when Microsoft will put a web browser on it.
I mean, the Wii and PS3 have had web browsers for years and Microsoft do make the most widely used web browser in the world.
