3 is launching its first Android powered handset, the HTC Hero, incorporating a free subscription to Spotify’s premium music streaming service.

The two year contract will set you back £35 per month, with a charge of £99 for the phone itself.

Spotify’s premium service has no ads, and allows you to listen to playlists offline. Normally, 24 months worth of premium Spotify would set you back £240 in itself.

The HTC Hero phone boasts a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, bluetooth and wi-fi.

You’ll be able to bag this contract and the Hero next month, and you can expect similar music streaming deals to appear with other 3 products in the future.
