Sky Player will be integrated into Windows 7

On the day of the Windows 7 launch, Sky took the opportunity to announce that the Sky Player will be integrated into the operating system’s Media Centre.

This will allow Sky subscribing Windows 7 users to tune into both live and on-demand programmes, for free if you’re a Multi-room or Broadband Unlimited customer.

Other Sky users will have to pay £5 per month, and those without Sky £15 per month.

The deal isn’t particularly surprising given that Sky Player is already coming to the Xbox 360 console next week.
