Last month Philips launched the Wireless HDTV Link at the IFA Show in Berlin 2009, a nice little device that will help the consumer do away with all of those messy and unattractive wires and cables that collect dust.

The Philips wireless HDTV box will be going on sale in the US with a price tag of £489 this week.

This device not only clears away all of those tangled wires, but promises to give the user a superior HD picture of up to 1080p.

The wireless box will not just help out with satellite TV, as it can connect cable and other devices such as a Blu-ray player.

In fact it has been designed to connect up to four devices in one go.
