Orange readies Apple iPhone for November 10th

Orange will begin selling the Apple iPhone on November 10th in the UK, just one short day after O2’s exclusive comes to an end.

That’s the good news according to a report in The Guardian. The not-so-good news is that the piece stated that a price war isn’t on the cards, and instead Orange is looking at other ways of increasing value such as additional accessories or free apps.

The build-up to Christmas is certainly looking strong for Orange, however, with apparently 200,000 customers registering their interest in the smartphone.

Vodafone will also be offering the iPhone early next year, and other reports have said that 3 is poised to take on the device in 2010. By that time, maybe we can look forward to some price drops.
