Video streaming is becoming popular largely due to services such as Hulu and Netflix. Roku’s little video player is another device that let’s users stream movies and TV shows off the Internet and onto a TV. Of course, one of its content providers is already mentioned above - Netflix. Then you also have Amazon, and Major League Baseball for a nice lineup of entertainment.
Roku video players feature an 802.11n Wi-Fi connection that delivers excellent wireless video. Users can stream high-def video wirelessly and reliably. However, as most online streaming devices are, it bogs down whenever it had to compete for network bandwidth, such as downloading of large files on the internet, or copying files from one machine to another. But the Roku box also have an ethernet port that can be used as an alternative.
