The deal is said to be worth around £7.5 million and will allow Hughes to make use of the Avanti virtual operator service.
This service is based on the HYLAS satellite.
As part of the ten year deal, Hughes is now committed to selling the HYLAS satellite services to its own clients, which are mainly involved in the gas, lottery and oil business.
According to the chief executive of Avanti, David Williams, the partnership is an important step for both firms.
With Hughes being one of the leaders in business satellite networks, Avanti is looking forward to getting the HYLAS satellite filled in Europe.
