Businesses in Glasgow can apply to take part in the trials of super fast broadband being carried out by BT.

The firms will have to be in the Halfway area of the city and those chosen will be able to take part in the trials which will last until the end of March next year.

The trials are an extension of those being carried out in London and Cardiff, where fibre to the cabinet (FTTC) is already being tried out.

BT’s research has shown that over sixty per cent of businesses using a high speed broadband connection believe that the service has helped them.

According to BT, the three trials will be able to show businesses how super fast broadband can help them use different services.
