Microsoft Bing delayed to 2010 in UK

Microsoft’s search engine Bing won’t be launching in the UK until 2010.

Apparently Bing hasn’t been as well received over here in comparison to the States, one of the reasons for this being that it isn’t localised for the UK.

Reports say that no marketing is being planned for Bing in the UK now, until at least the first quarter of 2010 or possibly later. Presumably when localisation is fully underway.

Of course, Microsoft has had other things to think about lately anyway, such as the recent launch of Windows 7.

It must have taken them months to come up with the “Windows 7 launch parties” concept alone. (Ahem).
