It seems that Virgin Media is getting into the Christmas spirit and will be giving free access to the True Movies Channel for all of its subscribers.

The cable, phone, broadband and TV company has revealed that the True Movies Channel will be free to all of its customers from now until the middle of January 2010.

True Movies, as the title suggests, is known for showing films and TV shows that are based on real or true events.

It can be found on channel 428 on the Virgin Media cable TV service.

Virgin Media has been busy recently adding more services to its cable network, including a trial of a new 3D television service in London.
