The flagship channel of Virgin Media Television, Virgin 1 will be showing some of the top shows from the US, following an agreement between the cable broadcaster and NBC Universal International Distribution.

In 2010 Virgin 1 will be showing ‘Warehouse 13′, which follows two secret service agents who look after the state’s treasures and is currently the top show on Syfy in the US.

In addition it will be showing ‘Trauma’ which follows a medical team in San Francisco.

Both of these series are thirteen episodes long and will offer Virgin 1 viewers the chance to catch up some of the top US programming.

According to the head of acquisitions at Virgin Media, Amy Barham, Virgin 1 is the fastest growing Freeview channel and adding top US content should help the channel’s success to continue.
