Scramble for Nokia N900 causes delay

The Nokia N900 Maemo powered tablet phone has hit delays coming to UK shelves.

If you were looking forward to getting your mitts on one sharpish, the bad news is you’ll now have to wait until December 4th. This is according to a report by NokNok.

The better news, however, is that if you’re really keen and have pre-ordered, you should still be getting the N900 this week.

The reason for the delay is simply high demand, with Nokia saying that they’ve been inundated with pre-orders.

The N900 comes with an ARM Cortex A8 processor, 3.5 inch touchscreen and Qwerty keyboard. It’s priced at £499 sim-free.
