The iRiver Story is now available in the UK.

What’s the Story? It isn’t morning glory, rather it’s an e-book reader which will give another option to those who haven’t yet plumped for an Amazon Kindle or Sony Reader.

The Story boasts a 6 inch 800 x 600 display, 2GB of memory (more can be added if that isn’t enough) and a Qwerty keyboard for making notes.

There’s also a diary and scheduler included, plus a built-in speaker so you can listen to audio books or indeed music. The device can even be used as a voice recorder.

It sounds like a smart piece of kit, and if you’re interested in buying one, the Story is priced at £229.

  1. The iRiver Story looks to be a good option for someone who doesn’t like the Kindle, since it supports Adobe ePub and PDF.
