Mobile broadband marketing will have to change

November 30, 2009

For a long time, in fact probably from the time that mobile broadband was first launched, there have been issues over the connection speeds advertised compared with those that the users are actually getting.

Now it seems that enough is enough and it is about time that the mobile broadband providers started advertising exactly what speeds users can expect to achieve, rather than the highest connection speeds available.

Broadband comparison site, Broadband Genie, is calling for mobile providers to come clean with what connection speeds can be achieved instead of the current way of advertising the “Up to” speeds.

Mobile broadband is a great service and can help people who have to travel for work and students who do need to access the internet but do not have access to a fixed line broadband connection.
