BBC Execs must justify their worth

It looks like the top people within the BBC are going to have to justify their high salaries following the government’s attempts to save cash.

The government review has been put into action as it prepares to shave the costs of running national organisations back, in order to save money.

These cutbacks will have long-term effects on the economy as the government has borrowed heavily to survive the recession.

Staff at the BBC who are earning more than £150,000 will now be forced to justify their salaries in public, but just how that is going to work is not yet known.

One thing is for sure, there are going to be a lot of angry executives who may be a little wary of going public over their earnings.
