Virgin Media to screen 6th Harry Potter

December 9, 2009

The cable TV provider, Virgin Media, is making a meal of the fact that it will be showing the sixth film in the Harry Potter series over the Christmas period, by commissioning a series of five foot wide murals made from Christmas goodies such as crackers, sweets and other delights.

The murals, which depict Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in a way that they have never been seen before, have been produced by the artist Prudence Staite.

Customers of Virgin Media will be able to see ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’ for the first time on Virgin Media’s on-demand service and as it happens this will be the same day that the film is released on DVD and Blu-ray DVD.
