Vodafone decides HTC HD2 isn’t for them

Vodafone has announced that it won’t be restocking the HTC HD2 smartphone once its current stock has sold out.

That’s the state of play for the general punter, however, and apparently the company will still sell the phone to business users.

The move has been taken because Vodafone says it wants to focus on new smartphone launches.

Particularly, no doubt, the upcoming iPhone which the company will be stocking in the new year.

It’s still a surprising move though, as the phone was apparently selling reasonably well, and was favourably received by much of the press.

Thank goodness I was in early, transferred my contract from Orange to Vodafone to get an HTC HD2. It is a simply marvellous phone and I am sure that a lot of potential personal users will be greatly disappointed by this decision.

Shame on Voda phone, They are going to be loosers on such excellent hand set.
