Vodafone has confirmed it will be stocking the Nokia N900. The company has listed the phone on its web site, saying that it’s coming in January 2010.
No details are yet provided on pricing or contracts for the mobile.
The N900 comes with an ARM Cortex A8 processor, 3.5 inch touchscreen and Qwerty keyboard. Currently you can buy it direct from Nokia for £499 sim-free, so it’s a little bit tasty on the wallet front.
Along with the iPhone, this must be one of the models Vodafone meant when it said it was dropping the HTC HD2 to concentrate on other smartphones.
If you surf on over to the Vodafone website, you can register to be notified of further details on the N900 when they become available. Which should be very soon, given the projected launch date.
