Election debate to go ahead

by David Allen

It is highly likely that a snap decision could be made by the PM Gordon Brown for a General Election.

This has to happen sooner or later and when it does Sky TV will spring into action, as the satellite broadcaster will be showing one of three live TV debates with party leaders.

The first debate will be held by ITV with Alistair Stewart and the third and final will be held in the BBC’s Question Time studio with David Dimbleby.

But the Sky News debate could prove to the make or break show for the leaders as they come under the scrutiny of political editor, Adam Boulton.

In fact it has been BSkyB that has been pushing the leaders’ live debates since the US election.
