A stranger to the BBC would have been forgiven for thinking that the BBC had only one actor on its books over the Christmas holiday period for conservative MP, Nigel Evans’ research has come up with some remarkable findings.
David Tennant, the outgoing Dr Who, has made no less than seventy five appearances in the three weeks over Christmas and it is not even the New Year yet!
The appearances are broken down as follows: twenty eight appearances were on new programmes, while forty seven were repeats.
The MP claims that the BBC has been denying other actors the opportunity to be on TV in favour of one actor.
However the BBC claims that the appearances were spread out over different channels and over three weeks.
