It’s now official that alongside O2, Orange and Tesco, Vodafone is stocking the Apple iPhone for its customers in the UK.

Vodafone’s contracts will start from £30 per month, and many users will be signing up for the reputed quality of its 3G network.

Indeed, according to Vodafone’s figures, the company has 50,000 pre-ordered iPhones which it will be shipping out today. A very tidy number and considerably more than Orange’s debut managed.

If you want an iPhone 3G from Vodafone, you can pick one up for free starting at £35 per month on a two year contract.

The iPhone 3GS 16GB is free on a £45 per month two year deal. 1GB of mobile Internet access is included on all contracts.
