A former pizza delivery man, Renukanth Subramaniam, who was the founder of a massive UK based cybercrime site has been caught.

The global online crime network was described by the Guardian as the “top English language cybercrime site in the world”, and consisted of a community of 2000 online criminals.

It was called DarkMarket, and reportedly perpetrated fraud to the tune of over £100 million.

Criminals on DarkMarket could buy stolen credit card numbers on the site, spam bots, and even the hardware needed to clone credit cards.

Subramaniam operated out of an Internet cafe in London, but was brought into custody after he was tracked down by the FBI and SOCA (the Serious Organised Crime Agency).

He faces a substantial sentence.
