Apple event slated for 27th January

Apple has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event in San Francisco on January 27th.

Reporters have been officially invited to the shindig, with a paint splattered Jackson Pollock style invitation which reveals exactly nothing about what is being launched.

Speculation has been rife for a while now that this will be the unveiling of the fabled “iSlate” or Apple tablet computer.

And indeed this will almost certainly be the case. If it’s something else, you’ll probably hear the gasps of surprise and jaws dropping from over here in the UK.
