Exterity, the Building IPTV specialist, today announces its attendance at Integrated Systems Europe 2010 (ISE 2010), which is taking place from 2nd-4th February at the Amsterdam RAI, Netherlands.
Throughout the show Exterity will be demonstrating a number of its market-leading solutions and the latest additions to its product portfolio, including:
AvediaStream TVgateways: Exterity will be showcasing the AvediaStream g4150 and AvediaStream g4155 DVB-C TVgateways, the latest additions to the AvediaStream TVgateway family.
These products enable organisations to distribute live, encrypted cable television across their networks.
The company will also demonstrate its newly-launched AvediaStream g4170 ATSC gateway for use in North America, which enables live terrestrial TV and radio streaming, further underlining Exterity’s global strategy and market-leading position.
AvediaServer: Exterity’s AvediaServer family harnesses an organisation’s existing IP network to distribute VoD or scheduled video content, with just one of its 2U chassis’ delivering up to 125 video streams simultaneously.
Exterity will be demonstrating how AvediaServer can be configured with different software modules and disk capacities to provide everything an organisation needs to build a robust video storage and delivery solution and users are presented with channel choices using a customisable organisation-branded web interface.
Exterity’s portfolio of 1080p products: Exterity will showcase the latest additions to its portfolio of 1080p products, including the AvediaStream e3532 Encoder, which supports high profile 1080p encoding from an HDMI source or encoding a PC’s desktop, making it into a TV channel on your network.
The encoder supports both multicast and unicast, and drives MPEG-4 H.264 video encoding from devices such as Blu-ray disc players, digital signage systems, PC screen output, set-top boxes and digital cameras.
“Exterity is looking forward to showcasing its range of market-leading building IPTV solutions at ISE 2010 and the benefits they can deliver to organisations in a variety of sectors including healthcare, education, venues, hospitality and corporates,” says Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity.
“In today’s challenging economic climate, the need to meet customers’ growing expectations with regards to service is paramount.
“We are excited to demonstrate how Exterity can enable organisations to address this challenge at one of the world’s leading AV and electronic systems integration events.”
Exterity products enable organisations to distribute broadcast-quality digital TV and video over building or campus IP networks (LANs) to a virtually unlimited number of users, with centralised management, configuration, and control.
Unlike traditional analogue systems, Exterity systems can support an unlimited number of channels, and picture quality is unaffected by the addition of displays or users.
