Vodafone shifts 100,000 iPhones in first week

Vodafone must be pretty pleased with its sales figures since it began selling the iPhone.

The company claims that it has flogged 100,000 of the Apple handsets in its debut week.

Which is pretty impressive given that Vodafone was late to the party, following in the footsteps of O2, Orange and Tesco.

Vodafone’s CEO commented that demand on both the consumer and business front had been “phenomenal”, and stressed that people wanted to be on Vodafone’s “outstanding network”.
