Following a few slip ups by certain members of the government, it seems that the UK could be looking at a General Election on the 6th May.
This is fine but, as the main UK broadcasters prepare for the first ever US-style election debates, one thing stands out for the BBC, ITV and BSkyB and that is the Champions League knock out stages.
The broadcasters initially agreed that the election debates should take place on a Wednesday evening, during the last three weeks prior to polling day.
These weeks take in the semi final matches which will therefore clash with the debates.
It seems that an alternative day for the debates must be found otherwise it will be Football Vs Politicians.
Sounds like an idea for a TV reality show!
