Samsung has launched a new phone in the UK, boldly entitled the Galaxy Portal.

It’s an Android powered handset which comes equipped with a 3.2 inch touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 1GB memory card, assisted GPS, bluetooth, 3G and wi-fi.

The Galaxy Portal, which is also known as the i5700, comes readied with the Layar app, a navigation guide that can tell you where the nearest bus station is, or pub showing live football.

The phone is available from T-Mobile, with tariffs starting at £18 per month (for 18 months) if you want the handset thrown in for free.
