Switchover Meetings in Aberdeen

by David Allen

Householders around the city of Aberdeen are being urged to attend the local meetings that are being organised by Digital UK.

These meetings will offer advice on what the householder can do to make sure that their television service is not cut off permanently.

Digital UK has been holding these throughout the UK since the very first region was switched over.

The meetings offer advice and explain what the householders have to do in order to keep their TV channels on air.

After the digital switchover has taken place the analogue equipment will not work at all, yet all that is required is a £20 Freeview set top box for each television.

There is the pay TV route too, should the consumer feel that now is the time to turn to BSkyB.
