Gamers bitten by the recession may be interested to learn about Sega’s upcoming budget console.
Apparently the Sega Zone will be priced at around the £50 mark, and will feature Nintendo Wii style motion controllers.
Although it isn’t a fresh piece of hardware, but simply a re-branded Zone 40 wireless gaming console.
It will come with 20 “classic” Sega games on board – including Golden Axe, Ecco the Dolphin, and of course Sonic – plus 30 other games.
According to Pocket Lint, you won’t be able to buy new titles, however, so it’s a case of enjoying the pre-loaded games and that’s your lot.
The Sega Zone will be available come spring.
