It seems that video games platforms will stop at nothing to attract users.
Take Sony for instance; it is launching a reality TV series called The Tester for its PlayStation Network.
It is a strange name but the format is familiar.
It starts off with eleven challengers who will do almost anything to join the Sony Game Design team.
The winner of the show will get a $5,000 golden hello and a job as games tester for Sony at the San Diego plant.
The series starts on the 18th February and all PS3 owners will be able to download the episodes for free.
Is this the future of gaming or a clever marketing ploy?
You would have to think both and that there are plenty more ideas where this came from to come.
