One of the main drawbacks with 3D TV and film is the fact that the viewer has to wear those glasses but, according to the Singapore based Sunny Ocean Studios, glasses-free 3D TV is not that far away.
The company is currently working on a display that could show 3D images without the viewer needing glasses.
There were some glasses-free 3D TVs demonstrated at the CES 2010, but these only had limited viewing angles, in fact there are only around eight or nine positions which will allow the viewer to experience the 3D effect.
The Sunny Ocean Studio 3D TV display is supposed to have around sixty four viewing angles, offering the viewer a better 3D experience.
The company is looking forward to demonstrating this technology at the CeBit technology show in Germany next month.
