Virgin Media sparks backside row

Has the cable broadband and TV provider Virgin Media gone too far with its latest marketing campaign, which has been conceived to expose the real broadband speeds of rival BT?

It seems that Virgin Media brought in a top glamour model and several of her work colleagues to stand right outside the famous BT Tower with exposed derrieres and the words “BT? Fast Broadband? My A***!”, written on their perfectly formed bottoms.

It could be described as a cheeky stunt, in fact that is exactly what Jon James, executive director of broadband at Virgin Media said, as he described why Virgin Media had gone to such lengths.

Virgin Media claims that consumers should be aware of the broadband speeds they getting and should demand what they are paying for.
