The UK-based set top box manufacturer, Pace, has announced that it has signed an agreement with the M7 Group which runs CanalDigitaal, TV Vlaanderen and TeleSAT in the Benelux region of Europe.

Pace will be providing the pay-TV company with the latest HD TV set top box branded under the Philips name, but it will also carry the Pace France name and a specially designed logo with “Designed by Pace” printed on it.

This agreement will make HD set top boxes available to viewers in the region, where it is hoped that the M7 Group will be able to capitalise on the interest from consumers in high definition television services.

M7 has recently pressed ahead with a deal for two HD transponders from Astra.
