Blackberry to get the iPlayer

Blackberry users must have been feeling left out because as smartphones got more and more applications, the Blackberry seemed to be in danger in missing out on some of the good stuff available to other phones.

However, the BBC is never likely to miss out on a great opportunity, and this seemed to be an ideal chance to offer Blackberry owners the BBC iPlayer.

Therefore, it now seems that Blackberry owners will not just be sitting there checking emails, they may be catching up with last night’s television programmes via the latest BBC iPlayer web portal, especially designed for them.

This new, free-to-use service allows Blackberry users to access the BBC catch-up service for TV shows and Radio programmes, provided that a decent Wi-Fi service is available.
