Ofcom allows BT to bundle BT Vision

March 15, 2010

The media regulator will be allowing BT to bundle its services into very competitive packages for the first time.

Effectively this will mean BT providing what it calls a fairer service to its customers.

This would imply that BT is offering a service that is not fair to its customers at the moment, but it is the BT television service, BT Vision, that should come out more attractive to customers.

At the moment BT Vision can be included in a package costing £21.99 per month, but for BT Vision there is potential to grow with the addition of the multi channel Project Canvas and the prospect of the media regulator Ofcom forcing Sky TV’s wholesale prices down.

However, for the average consumer the pricing of bundles is extremely confusing.
