Free Telegent Dongle offer

by David Allen

Freeview is the free-to-view digital replacement for the current analogue television service.

It comes in the form of a tuner that can be either found built into a television or as a stand alone set top box.

Either way Freeview has fast become the digital TV service of choice, overtaking the pay TV digital service provided by BSkyB.

However Freeview can also be found on the recently launched Telegent Freeview Dongle that simply connects to a computer through the USB port and, unlike online TV, this service provides live television providing the user is located in an area covered by the Freeview service.

Unfortunately, the Telegent service is not compatible with Macs just yet, but Windows users can get a free dongle to test, over at ShinyShiny, if they want to see what all the fuss is about.
