Sagem launches iPlayer on Freesat STB

Owners of the Sagem Freesat HD and Freesat+ HD set top boxes will now be able to access the BBC iPlayer, allowing them to catch up on programmes from the last seven days as well some archived material.

In order to access the BBC iPlayer, the set top box must be connected to a broadband connection, otherwise it will not work.

Once connected the user simply presses the red button while watching any BBC Channel apart from the children’s channels CBBC and Cbeebies.

Once the red button is pressed, the user will need to enter an access code.

Currently the official BBC iPlayer trail access code is 5483.

Once entered the iPlayer should start up, although apparently in some cases a “number not found” message may appear.

This will clear and the BBC iPlayer should load and be ready to use.
