The popular BBC iPlayer will now become available to the owners of Goodmans and Bush Freesat set top boxes.

Announcements were made by Humax earlier on in the year and by Grundig this week that the iPlayer will be available through their set top boxes.

Most of the HD set top box models from Goodmans and Bush will be able to receive the BBC’s iPlayer, which will become available through an over the air download (OAD).

Thiis is where the software is automatically downloaded to the equipment.

In order to use the iPlayer the set top box must be connected to the internet.

It is preferable that a minimum of 1 Mbps is available in order to enjoy the content available on the BBC iPlayer.

The catch up service can be accessed by pressing the red button while watching a BBC channel.
