Toshiba has revealed four new notebooks it will be adding to its Satellite range.

The laptops will include the C650, L650, L670, and a higher end model, the A660.

All of these can be configured with Intel’s latest processors, the Core i3, i5 and i7, with some having an AMD option, as well.

The A660 is billed as a high-end multimedia spec, with wireless display technology, or wi-di, which allows wireless streaming of video to a wi-di enabled TV set.

It also sports Resolution+ upscaling (which basically upscales standard definition content to something approaching HD).

The A660 comes with a choice of Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, a 16 inch display, a multi-touch trackpad, and can also have extras such as a Blu-ray drive bolted on.

At the other end of the scale will be the more budget oriented C650. This will have a 15.6 inch screen, a Core i3 or AMD processor, and it should only set you back around the £350 mark.

The L650 and L670 will sit in-between, with both models boasting Core i3 or i5 processors, and up to a 500GB hard disk.

Basically, they’ll be a slight advance on the C650, particularly the L670 which will have a bigger 17.3 inch display (the L650 will stick with the 15.6 inch screen).

Apparently, all of these will be available soon, and firmer pricing details and specifications should be announced in the very near future.
