Panasonic increases 3D TV production by 30%

April 21, 2010

The market in 3D televisions appears to be expanding at a rate that even the manufacturers may have not expected.

In the US the market has been booming and in order to compensate for the shortfall in supply, the television maker Panasonic has announced that it will be increasing production of its 3D television by thirty per cent, following reports that all of the company’s stock in the US has been sold.

Initially there were doubts as to whether 3D televisions would be a hit, but clearly the market is there and seems to be growing day on day.

Panasonic is yet to launch the 3D television in the UK, but this increase in US sales should not affect the UK launch of the Panasonic TX P50V20 and the TX P65V20 in May.
